Heck Trailer – other models: trailers outside the named series, HK, HKL and HP types carrying the gross weight in the designation, 620 to 2,320 kg kerb weight, 2,600 to 8,500 kg gross vehicle weight
This page collects Heck Trailer units that the register could not assign to a named series. The HK, HKL and HP designations carry the gross vehicle weight in kilograms as their number: HK 2600 and HKL 2600 stand for 2,600 kg, HP 8500 for 8,500 kg. The page therefore spans both class O2 (0.75 to 3.5 t gross weight) and class O3 (3.5 to 10 t), with the HKL variant additionally indicating an enclosed or extended body style and the HP series covering the heaviest versions on this page.

The register lists 4 versions here with kerb weights from 620 to 2,320 kg and gross vehicle weights from 2,600 to 8,500 kg. Widths range from 2,010 to 2,550 mm, matching the usual spread between simple single-axle units and wider tandem-axle trailers.
Trailers of this size serve trades as flatbed, tipper or tandem-axle trailers for craft work, landscaping and light haulage, while the heavier versions around 8.5 t can already carry construction machinery, compact excavators or smaller vehicles, requiring a sturdier chassis, axles and brake system than the lighter models in the range.
When buying used, check the condition of axles and brakes, rust on the chassis and drawbar, the function of the overrun brake, plus lights and tyre tread; on the heavier types also check the ramps, the load bed's carrying capacity and intact lashing points suited to the intended use.
