GRUNDMEIER Other models

The register lists here 16 versions with unladen weights from 260 to 705 kg, gross weights from 1,000 to 3,500 kg and widths from 1,900 to 2,470 mm.

With an unladen weight under 705 kg against a gross weight of up to 3,500 kg, the largest versions reach payloads well above 2.5 tonnes. Trailers across this span cover a wide field of use, from the small garden trailer to the building-site trailer for rubble and construction materials; the smaller types are usually single-axle, while the types from around 2,500 kg gross weight upward often run on two axles.

On a used example, the condition and load rating of the axle relative to the weight class, the brakes and their adjustment, the load bed for corrosion, warping and loose floorboards, the side boards and their hinges and catches, and the tow eye, jockey wheel and lighting system all count, and on twin-axle versions the equalisation of axle load.
