When buying used, what counts is the condition of the mast and its extension mechanism, the function of the support legs, the condition of the frame and axle for corrosion, and the brake and lighting; given the fitted measurement and electronic equipment, it is also worth carrying out a function test on site. Full documentation of the fitted sensors and software makes continued operation easier after a change of owner.
