This page gathers models of the American military vehicle Gama Goat, known as the M561, a 6x6 off-road vehicle built in the 1960s and 1970s by the Consolidated Diesel Corporation (Condec) for the US armed forces. Listed here are the M561 itself and an amphibious version under the designation Amphibhie 22529, whose name points to the vehicle's floating variant.

The register lists 2 versions here with a displacement of 2,655 cm³ from three-cylinder engines, kerb weights from 3,320 to 3,380 kg, gross vehicle weights from 3,480 to 3,500 kg, a length of 5,750 mm and widths from 2,150 to 2,200 mm.

With its articulated two-part construction and four-wheel drive, the Gama Goat was built for use in heavy terrain and, in part, for amphibious operation, serving as a transport and towing vehicle to move light trailers and equipment across ground impassable for conventional trucks.

For a used example of these historic military vehicles, what matters is the condition of the articulated joint between the vehicle sections, corrosion on the frame and body, the condition of the engine, transmission and transfer case, and on the amphibious versions the tightness of the hull construction and the operation of the water propulsion; parts run almost exclusively through specialist military-vehicle dealers and re-enactment clubs.
