That unladen weight and gross weight coincide here follows from the design: the measuring equipment itself forms the fixed load, and an additional payload is not intended on a test trailer. With gross weights up to 2,000 kg, the versions stay within class O2, and the compact lengths of around 3 m match the needs of a test rig without a separate load area.

Buying used, on these specialist trailers check above all the calibration and condition of the measuring equipment, the condition of the wiring and connections, the function of the axle and overrun brake, and the tyres and lighting. Spare parts and calibration service for the measuring equipment are usually supplied by the manufacturer itself; it is also worth reviewing the records of recent calibration checks.
