The Fordson Power Major was the uprated version of the Fordson (New) Major, built at Ford's Dagenham plant near London from 1958 to 1961. It marked an interim step in the Fordson Major line between the New Major of the 1950s and the Super Major, which replaced it from 1961; the 2020 and 2030 suffixes on the models covered here denote different versions and build years of the same base model. Fordson was Ford's independent tractor brand for the British and European market until 1964, after which the parent Ford brand took its place directly.
