FIBERLINE Other models

The register lists here 10 versions with unladen weights from 270 to 700 kg, gross weights from 1,300 to 3,000 kg and widths from 2,120 to 2,450 mm.

Trailers in this span fall into vehicle class O2, the band between 750 kg and 3.5 tonnes gross weight in which an overrun brake is required. With widths of up to almost 2.5 metres, the Fiberline models sit near the upper edge of what is allowed on public roads without a special permit, suiting loads that exceed the bed of an ordinary car trailer.

On a used example, the condition of frame and drawbar, corrosion on mudguards and side panels, the function of the overrun device and brake linings, the condition of tyres and wheel bearings, and an unbroken registration history all count; spare parts for axles, lighting and the coupling are usually available independent of the maker for trailers in this weight class.
