The register lists here 33 versions with unladen weights from 250 to 540 kg, gross weights from 905 to 2,901 kg and widths from 1,800 to 2,510 mm.

Trailers of this light class mostly carry boats, jet skis or other leisure equipment behind a car; the span from under a tonne to nearly 2.9 tonnes gross weight covers both simple single-axle units for small boats and larger twin-axle trailers for heavier craft. Up to 3.5 tonnes combination gross weight, a BE driving licence is sufficient in most European countries.

When buying a used boat trailer, what counts above all is corrosion on the frame and axles from contact with water, the condition of the rollers and keel supports, the function of the winch, and the condition of the lighting, brakes and tyres; because of contact with fresh or salt water, a particularly thorough check of welds and frame cavities for rust is worthwhile. The condition of the coupling head, jockey wheel and safety chain also belong in the pre-purchase check.
