Emtomec is a Chinese manufacturer of three-phase standard motors whose HE range is listed on the Australian energy-efficiency register MEPS. The type designation, for example HE 100L4 or HE 112M6, is made up of the frame size (100L, 100LX or 112M) and the pole count as the final digit; this matches the frame-size and pole-count values carried in the register.

The register lists here 6 versions with 2.2 to 4 kW rated output, 2- to 6-pole, at a voltage of 400 V. Full-load efficiency ranges from 83.08 to 88.54%, and at 75% load from 83.22 to 89.46%. All six motors carry IP55/IP56 protection and are built as foot-mounted versions in frame sizes 100L, 100LX S and 112M. Testing followed the 2019 GEMS determination using test method A.
The HE range covers the lower to mid power band of three-phase standard motors used in pumps, fans and light conveying equipment, competing with Chinese as well as international standard-motor programmes. The range is manufactured in China.
When buying used, what matters is bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, visible overheating marks on the terminal box and fan cover, and a legible nameplate with frame size, pole count and protection rating. The mounting codes B3, B5, B14, B34, B35, V1, V3 and V5 show the motors can be used in several mounting positions. Spares run through the relevant distributor.
