With gross weights of 2.7 to 14 tonnes, the programme covers the braked trailer class through to the heavy class above 10 tonnes; on the types with a number in the name, the gross weight can already be read from the designation. For registration behind a car, besides the trailer's gross weight the tow vehicle's rated towing capacity is also decisive.

On a used example, depending on the version, axle and wheel-bearing condition or suspension, the function of the overrun or service brake with its linkage or lines, rust on frame and drawbar or side members, and tyres and rims all count. Parts for such small brands usually run through independent trailer workshops rather than a maker's own network. On multi-axle trailers, the condition of the air-suspension bellows and the supply-line connections is also worth checking before the first drive.
