Self-build (Egen Tillverkn) Trailers up to 750 kg (Class O1)

Egen tillverkning is Swedish for “own manufacture” and not a manufacturer: the entry that the transport agency Transportstyrelsen keeps in the manufacturer field when a trailer was built by a private person or business and registered after a registration inspection (registreringsbesiktning) at a test station – necessary in Sweden for every trailer, because there even the light ones carry a plate of their own. This collective page covers the light class O1 up to 750 kg gross weight, lätt släpvagn in Swedish usage, which may run unbraked behind any car. The model designations are the dimensions the inspector entered: width by length of the load bed in centimetres (130X280, 150*300), the overall length in metres (2.50M, 3,0 M), the gross weight (/750) or combinations of wheelbase and weight.
