DEHLER Other models

The register lists 21 versions with unladen weights from 240 to 850 kg, gross weights from 1,160 to 2,000 kg, lengths from 6,530 to 7,450 mm and widths from 2,050 to 2,500 mm.

Boat trailers of this size carry sport and motor boats on the road and at the slipway; the large payload reserve compared with the unladen weight, up to 2 tonnes gross weight, covers boats of varying length and engine power, from small rowing boats to cabin motor boats.

On a used boat trailer, the condition of the frame and roller or keel-support bed, rust and corrosion from contact with salt or fresh water, the function of axle, brake and lighting, and the smooth running of the winch all count; where a tilt function is fitted, the condition of the tilt mechanism also needs checking. The drawbar, jockey wheel and the tie-down points for straps should also be free of cracks and wear.
