On a used example, axle and wheel-bearing condition, the function of the overrun brake and its linkage on braked versions, rust on frame and drawbar, and the state of tyres and lighting all count. Given the generous payload margin of these models, it is also worth checking for frame deformation and the condition of the suspension after years of regular full loads and the condition of the ball coupling. Parts for a brand of this size usually come through independent trailer workshops.
