CAPRON Other models

The register lists here 58 versions with unladen weights from 720 to 1,260 kg, gross weights from 900 to 1,600 kg and widths from 2,100 to 2,350 mm; lengths from 5,430 to 7,970 mm are recorded for part of the models as well.

Sunlight and Carado are among the high-volume German caravan brands in the entry and mid-range segments and compete with Hobby, Knaus, Weinsberg and Dethleffs; the low unladen weight of the models also makes them attractive for tow cars with a limited towing capacity.

On a used example, damp in the roof and around windows and wall penetrations, the condition of the drawbar and overrun brake, axle and tyres, the gas system and fridge, and the seals of windows and roof hatches count; spare parts run through the Sunlight and Carado service network and independent caravan workshops.
