The register lists here 5 versions with unladen weights from 800 to 2,500 kg, a gross weight of 2,500 kg and widths from 2,270 to 2,280 mm; one version also reaches a length of 7,850 mm.

With gross weights up to 2.5 tonnes, all versions fall into the braked trailer class O2; the spread of unladen weights from 800 to 2,500 kg shows the range spans light to heavy, fully built-up bodies, as the name Schirmbar suggests.

On a used example, axle and wheel-bearing condition, the function of the overrun brake and its linkage, rust on frame and drawbar, the state of lighting and plug, and tyres and rims all count; on the built-up versions the tightness and condition of the interior fit-out and the function of doors and windows matter too, and on the heaviest examples the condition of the chassis and suspension components matters as well. Spare parts usually run through independent trailer workshops.
