BUCCANEER Other models

The register lists here 3 versions with unladen weights from 1,670 to 1,840 kg, gross weights from 1,900 to 2,000 kg and widths from 2,230 to 2,500 mm; one version also reaches a length of 8,200 mm.

With unladen weights close to the gross weight, the payload of all three versions stays modest, typical of well-equipped O2-class touring caravans; they are towed behind suitably rated cars and estates as holiday caravans; a width of up to 2.5 metres calls for correspondingly wide manoeuvring space when driving and parking.

On a used example, damp in floor, walls and roof, the condition of axle and overrun brake, the function of windows and seals, rust on frame and drawbar, and the state of lighting and tyres all count; on the nautically named models the condition of the interior fit-out is also worth checking, as British touring caravans often carry an elaborate one. Parts for the British marque usually run through British caravan specialist trade.
