The register lists here 23 versions with unladen weights from 532 to 1,009 kg, gross weights from 800 to 1,250 kg and widths from 2,000 to 2,110 mm.

With gross weights consistently under 1.3 tonnes, these trailers sit in the lightest class, which in many European countries can be towed without a separate trailer entitlement; trailers of this kind have accompanied vehicles for decades as extra storage space for travel, camping and small loads. Up to a gross weight of 750 kg, these trailers may be towed unbraked in many European countries; above that threshold, regulations require an overrun brake.

On a used example of these older builds, the frame and drawbar for corrosion and earlier repairs, the axle, suspension and brakes (and, on unbraked versions, their permissibility in the country concerned), the condition of the cover or body, and the tow eye, jockey wheel and lighting system all count in particular, along with the age of the tyres regardless of tread condition, since older trailers often stand unused for long periods.
