Anschau Comet – other models: the collective page of trailers outside the named ranges, from the Komet III to the Komet VI, 360 to 950 kg unladen weight, widths from 1,650 to 2,120 mm
This page gathers the Anschau Comet trailers the register could not assign to a named range. The name comes from the Komet range, whose roman numerals III, IV and VI mark successive generations, supplemented by suffixes such as ELG or the count designation K/6; the register also lists the 74L type. The consistent Komet designation points to a model line kept in production across several model years with gradual development.

The register lists here 10 versions with unladen weights from 360 to 950 kg, gross weights from 850 to 1,900 kg and widths from 1,650 to 2,120 mm; one model carries a length of 9,000 mm.
Trailers of this type cover the light to medium class, in which both unbraked and braked versions occur depending on the gross weight. The Komet range, carried through several generations, points to a niche programme offered for a long time in the same market segment rather than being completely renewed every year.
On a used example, rust on the drawbar and frame and the condition of the axle suspension count especially on the older Komet generations, and on the braked versions the overrun coupling and brake linkage as well. Wheel bearings, tyres and lighting should be checked regardless of the model year, as they were often replaced over time; the type plate and serial number help to identify the generation precisely.
