Massey Ferguson MF 3600 A/V/S/F/GE (special models) – narrow specialty-crop tractors for vineyards and orchards: three-cylinder diesel of 3,300 cm³, 76 hp/56 kW, optional four-wheel drive, model year 2013
The MF 3600 special models from Massey Ferguson form a group within the range of narrower, more manoeuvrable versions for use in specialty crops such as vineyards and orchards, where standard tractors do not fit because of row width and the manoeuvrability required. Massey Ferguson has belonged to the AGCO group since 1994.

In its special variants, the MF 3600 is powered by a three-cylinder diesel engine of 3,300 cm³ displacement, delivering 76 hp or 56 kW, with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive as options and with gearboxes ranging from 12/12 up to 24/24 or 24/12 gears. At 3,260 kg unladen weight and a design top speed of 30 km/h, the machine is noticeably lighter than the brand's large arable tractors.
Specialty-crop tractors of this kind are built narrower to pass between rows of trees or vines, and need correspondingly adapted tyres, mudguards and often a lower driving position for working under branches and foliage. At 30 km/h the MF 3600 falls into the German T licence class; the optional four-wheel drive improves traction on the slopes common in viticulture.
When buying a used specialty-crop tractor, the condition of mudguards, tyres and paintwork matters, since such machines in service frequently come into contact with branches, wire and crop-protection chemicals. The gearbox and four-wheel-drive engagement should be checked for clean operation, as should the tightness of the hydraulics for implements such as mulchers or sprayers.
