The register lists 26 versions with an unladen weight of 594 to 1,430 kg and a permissible gross weight of 810 to 1,740 kg. Lengths range from 6,230 to 7,950 mm with widths of 2,000 to 2,260 mm.

As touring caravans, these models served the caravanning market, where British manufacturers maintained a distinct construction style for decades, with wood- or aluminium-framed bodies on a steel chassis. They competed with other British and continental European caravan brands for families and leisure travellers.

When buying a used touring caravan, a damp check comes first: the roof, window frames and the join between body and chassis should be checked with a moisture meter, since penetrating damp damages the furniture construction and floor from the inside. The axle, braking system and jockey wheel should also be checked, along with the gas and electrical systems; for older models, sourcing spare parts is harder than for current ranges and often means turning to specialist caravan workshops.
