Fendt has added the fourth generation of the 500 and 1000 Vario ranges to the register — five models with full datasheet figures, from the entry-level unit to the flagship.

500 Vario Gen4: the entry point

The 515 Vario opens the new 500 range with a four-cylinder, 5.0-litre engine producing 154 hp (113 kW) and 745 Nm of torque. The PTO covers 540/540E/1000/1000E, hydraulics deliver up to 152 l/min, and rear lift capacity is 7,890 daN (3,420 daN at the front). Unladen weight is 6,850 kg, with a gross vehicle weight of 11,750 kg.

1000 Vario Gen4: four power steps

The 1000 range holds four models in the register: 1040 (400 hp / 294 kW), 1044 (440 hp / 324 kW), 1048 (480 hp / 353 kW) and 1052 (520 hp / 383 kW). All four share the same six-cylinder, 12.4-litre engine, the TA 400 Vario transmission and a 79-litre AdBlue tank — torque climbs with the power step from 2,090 to 2,650 Nm. The PTO runs at 1000/1000E (optional), hydraulics deliver 220 l/min, and rear lift capacity is 13,180 daN. Unladen weight is 14,000 kg, gross vehicle weight 23,000 kg, on a 3,300 mm wheelbase.

Every figure comes from the datasheet entries in the register — none is estimated.
