The VW Crafter is Volkswagen's large van above the T range, built since 2006 in joint technical development with MAN as the sister model to the MAN TGE, originally at MAN's Steyr plant in Austria, and since the second generation in 2016 at Volkswagen's new plant in Września, Poland. Model names such as Crafter 35 give the roughly rounded weight class in steps of a hundred kilograms; the Crafter is offered as a panel van, flatbed, chassis for bodies and minibus.
