STILL RX 60 3.5–5.0 t – KION Group electric counterbalance forklift with lithium-ion battery, lift height up to 7,180 mm and 20 km/h travel speed
STILL is a German manufacturer of forklift trucks and other materials-handling equipment headquartered in Hamburg, part of the KION Group, one of the world's largest suppliers of intralogistics technology. The RX 60 range is an electric counterbalance forklift for the 3.5 to 5.0 tonne load class, offered exclusively with a lithium-ion battery.

Within the range, versions are available with capacities of 3,500, 4,000, 4,500 and 4,990 kg. Most versions reach a lift height of 7,180 mm at a travel speed of 20 km/h and a battery voltage of 80 V. The strongest version, rated at 4,990 kg, is fitted with a shorter mast that reaches 6,880 mm lift height and travels slightly slower, at 19 km/h.
As a counterbalance truck, the RX 60 carries its load out in front of the front axle, making it suited to open goods handling in warehousing, production and goods-in areas, unlike reach trucks, which work in narrow rack aisles. The lithium-ion battery allows opportunity charging during breaks without swapping batteries and involves no acid or gassing, which eases operation across multiple shifts.
When buying used, check the condition of the battery cells and the charge-cycle counter, which a workshop can read out with diagnostic equipment, as well as cracks in the counterweight and its mounting. Lift chains, rollers and slide pads on the mast should be checked for wear, the fork tines for cracks, and the hydraulic cylinders for oil seepage at the seals. A complete service record gives further indication of how hard the truck has been used.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Load the hydraulics and watch for sag.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
