The Midlum was Renault Trucks' medium-duty distribution truck, introduced in 1997 as the successor to the older Renault S range and positioned between the light, van-based models and the heavy Premium. The type designation consists of a three-digit power class (150 to 300) and a letter suffix denoting the chassis variant and permissible gross weight; DCi engines with four or six cylinders covered the range from the 7.5-tonne licence category up to the 18- to 26-tonne class. In 2013 the Midlum was replaced by the new Renault D range, which continues the medium segment at Renault Trucks.
