The Peugeot Expert has been Peugeot's mid-size compact van since 1995 and was built at the joint Sevel Nord plant in northern France alongside the identical Citroën Jumpy and, until 2007, the Fiat Scudo. The first generation ran until 2007, the second until 2016 with a considerably expanded HDi diesel programme, and the third generation from 2016 uses the PSA EMP2 platform, shared since then with the new Citroën Jumpy and the Toyota Proace. The type logic orders the vehicle length with L1 to L3 and the roof height with H1/H2, while the HDi and BlueHDi designations mark successive generations of diesel technology with four-cylinders of 1.6 to 2.0 litres.
