Liebherr – other models: collective page of mobile cranes outside the named ranges, LG lattice-boom, compact LTC and telescopic LTM cranes, 205 to 440 kW
This page gathers Liebherr mobile cranes outside the named ranges – from the LG lattice-boom cranes through the compact LTC to the large LTM telescopic cranes. Liebherr, founded in 1949 by Hans Liebherr in Kirchdorf an der Iller in Upper Swabia and family-owned to this day, builds its mobile cranes at the Ehingen plant on the Danube. LTM stands for Liebherr-Teleskopmobilkran, LTC for the compact, manoeuvrable version with a shorter wheelbase, and LG for lattice-boom cranes on truck or crawler chassis; the following number roughly gives the maximum lifting capacity in tonnes, and the suffix after the hyphen the axle count and range generation.

The register lists here 49 versions with outputs from 205 to 440 kW, displacements from 6,370 to 21,920 cm³ from six- to twelve-cylinders, operating weights from 23,750 to 95,750 kg against gross weights of 24,000 to 96,000 kg and widths from 2,500 to 3,000 mm.
Alongside Grove/Manitowoc and Tadano, Liebherr is one of the leading makers of mobile cranes and market leader in the German-speaking countries; the LTM range covers the whole spectrum from the compact two-axle crane to the large crane for wind-turbine and industrial assembly work.
On used examples, engine and crane-gear operating hours, the condition of the telescopic sections and cable drums, the tightness of the hydraulic cylinders, rust on the boom segments and, on the LG lattice cranes, the condition of the mast sections and pin joints all count; parts and service run through Liebherr's worldwide network.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Check the weights in the papers against the figures here — attachments change them.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
