This page gathers the Kubota tractors the register could not assign to a named range – the Osaka group that began in 1890 as a foundry, built its first tractor in 1960 and came to North America and Europe with compact tractors in the 1970s, where it dominates the class under 50 hp to this day. The type logic: the letter gives the range – B for the compacts under 30 hp, L for the mid-range up to 60 hp, M for the full-size tractors above, BX and GR for lawn tractors – the number roughly the hp class (B7100 about 16 hp, L3350 about 33 hp, M9540 about 95 hp), D and DT four-wheel drive, HST the hydrostatic transmission, GL, GX and X equipment lines; since 2014 Kubota has also built tractors up to 170 hp with the M7 range from the Bierne plant in France. The engines are throughout Kubota's own diesels – the D and V series of 0.5 to 6.1 litres, which Bobcat, Manitou and many other makers also source.

On used tractors, operating hours, engine condition (Kubota diesels are regarded as long-lived), hydrostat or clutch, four-wheel-drive clutch, front loader and mower PTO, on younger models the exhaust aftertreatment count; parts run through the dense Kubota network.
