The register lists here 82 versions with 2 to 39 kW rated output at 1,500 to 3,600 rpm, exclusively as inline engines with one to four cylinders, 69 to 104 mm bore and 65 to 105 mm stroke; maximum torque ranges from 6.7 to 204.8 Nm. Tier 4 (Final or Phase-in) forms a majority with 70 versions, Interim Tier 4 follows with 12; the under-8-kW and 19-to-37-kW power categories lead with 46 and 14 versions respectively, and a waste-gate turbocharger is recorded for only 5 versions.

As with the other air-cooled Hatz units, the main applications are construction compressors, vibrating plates, generator sets and pumps away from fixed water and power supply; the long certification span of individual engine families through model year 2027 points to years of stable spare-parts supply for structurally identical units.

On a used purchase, the condition of the cooling fins and blower matters, along with compression pressure and oil consumption on the unturbocharged majority of models and, on the five turbocharged versions, the turbocharger as well; since individual engine families were built almost unchanged across more than ten model years, wear parts can usually still be sourced through the Hatz dealer network even for older machines.
