This page gathers the Ford F-100, the light pick-up of the F-Series that Ford introduced in 1948 as the successor to its pre-war delivery trucks and that took the F-100 name with the second generation in 1953. The model list shows the trim lines through the 1970s: Custom Cab as the more comfortable cab, Ranger as the top trim, Styleside for the smooth and Fleetside for the narrower bed shape, plus two- and four-wheel drive (2WD, 4X4, PU 4X4) and the I-Beam front axle introduced from 1965. The F-100 remained the smallest step of the F-Series until 1983, when Ford replaced it with the F-150.
