This page gathers mobile cranes of the ATF range from Faun, the German manufacturer of Lauf an der Pegnitz near Nuremberg, whose crane business has belonged to Tadano since 2019. ATF stands for "All Terrain Faun" and denotes the all-terrain telescopic cranes that replaced the earlier Krupp and Faun crane range from the 1980s onward. The type designation gives the maximum lift capacity in tonnes before the G and the number of axles after it – the ATF 220G-5 a crane with 220 tonnes lift capacity on five axles, the ATF 40G-2 a compact two-axle crane with 40 tonnes.
