East Lancs Myllennium Lolyne and Vyking – double-deck bodies from Blackburn
East Lancashire Coachbuilders of Blackburn, Lancashire, built bus bodywork. The Lolyne was a low-floor double-deck body built from 1999 to 2006 exclusively on the Dennis Trident 2 chassis; the Myllennium facelift ran from 2002 to 2006. It seated 76 to 94 passengers at 10 to 11.5 m in length and was also available as an open-top convertible. The Vyking is its sister model; the predecessor was the Pyoneer and the successor the Olympus.

What to check before buying
- Check the hour meter against the service records — a replaced instrument is the most common gap.
- Compare the data plate and chassis number with the papers.
- Ask about parts availability for this build year — the running costs hang on it.
