The XB is the lightest range in DAF's New Generation programme, with which the Dutch manufacturer renewed its entire truck line-up from 2021/2022 and which replaced the previous LF range. The engines come from DAF's PACCAR engine family, with displacements up to 6,690 cc, matching the PACCAR six-cylinder of around 6.7 litres.
