From the mid-1990s the Chevrolet Express range replaced the G-Van.
On used examples, oil consumption and carburettor condition matter on the V8, rust and sag on the ladder frame and leaf springs, rust on the sills and wheel arches on the body, and the condition of the side-window seals on the Sportvan version. On the transmission and propshaft, the condition of the universal joints also matters; parts run through the American youngtimer trade.
