Chery is known as a car maker from Wuhu in China's Anhui province and also sells tractors through its own agricultural-machinery arm, chiefly for export. The type logic of the models: RC marks the standard series, the suffix "High Crop" a version with raised ground clearance for tall-growing crops, RD, RK, RL and RV further series with rising numbers for the power class. As with many Chinese agricultural-machinery brands, the engines do not come from in-house production but from specialised Chinese diesel-engine makers: YTO of Luoyang, Yuchai of Guangxi, Quanchai of Anhui, Xinchai of Jiangsu, and Laidong and Jiangdong, which are often fitted in combination in a single model.
