This page gathers the Case tractors the register could not assign to a named range – from the pre-war classics to the big four-wheel-drive tractors of the late 20th century. J. I. Case was founded in 1842 in Racine, Wisconsin, and has built tractors since the 1910s; in 1985 the farm-equipment division merged with International Harvester to form Case IH, and since 1999 the brand has belonged to CNH. On early types such as the 10-20, 12-25, 15-27, 18-32 and 22-40 the first number gives the standardised drawbar power and the second the belt power, as was customary for US tractors before 1930. The 1980s range with the ending 94 – such as the 1394, 1594, 1694, 2094, 2294, 2390 and 2670 – is known as the "94 series", the first digit giving roughly the size class. The 1200 Traction King of 1969 was one of the maker's first articulated four-wheel-drive tractors. The engines, per the register, come almost exclusively from Case's own production.

On used tractors, originality and the condition of engine and belt pulley count on the pre-war classics, transmission, hydraulics and electrics on the 94-series types, articulation, four-wheel drive and tyres on the articulated big tractors, and rust on sheet metal and cab throughout; parts run through the Case IH and CNH network.
