This page gathers the Allis-Chalmers tractors the register could not assign to a named range – the brand from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that began in 1914 with the 10-18, was the first maker to introduce pneumatic tyres on a tractor with the Model U in 1932 and created the affordable small tractor for the American family farm with the Model B of 1937, before being sold to Deutz in 1985. The type logic: the early number types 10-18, 12-20 and 20-35 give drawbar and belt power in hp; the letter models A, B, C, CA, WC and WD of the 1930s to 1950s denote model types, not size; the D series (D-10 to D-21) of the 1950s and 1960s orders in ascending order; the 100s (160 to 220) of 1964 to 1975 give roughly the hp class, XT the turbocharger; the 7000s (7010 to 7080) of the 1970s with the Acousta Cab and the 8000s (8010 to 8070) of the 1980s are the last own ranges, the 4W-220 and 4W-305 the articulated tractors, the 5000s and 6000s bought-in compacts from Toyosha and Fiat. The engines are Allis-Chalmers' own as petrol, LPG and diesel versions, Perkins in some diesel models and Toyosha in the Japanese compacts.

From the 1930s to the 1970s Allis-Chalmers was the third big American maker after John Deere and International Harvester; the Persian Orange tractors are collectors' pieces today with their own association, and the brand lived on through Deutz-Allis and AGCO Allis until 2001.
On used tractors, originality, engine condition (carburettor on petrol engines, injection pump on diesels), clutch and transmission (Power Director on the D-17 and the 100s), hydraulics (Traction Booster) and sheet metal count; parts run through collector dealers and AGCO for the late ranges.
