The SCF 24 is the container-chassis range from Schmitz Gotha Fahrzeugwerke of Gotha in Thuringia. A chassis of this type carries ISO sea and swap containers on an open ladder frame with twistlock fittings at the corner castings instead of a closed loading deck. Alongside the base SCF 24, variants with extended equipment such as G, LIGHT, LX, MX and HH exist, along with the SLIDER version with a sliding chassis for different container lengths and the TANK variant for tank containers; EURO denotes versions built to the European type-approval standard.
