F0 is a three-phase motor range from Rossi, an Italian gearmotor manufacturer headquartered in Modena. The five versions listed cover frame sizes 80, 90, 100, 112 and 132, each in a pure flange design – the register consistently lists them as flange motors. The B4 suffix on the smallest frame size 80 refers to the winding or build variant within that frame size.

The register lists five versions with 0.75 to 5.5 kW rated output, four poles throughout, and an efficiency span of 82.1 to 88% at full load and 80.5 to 87.9% at 75% load. Protection is IP55 throughout, and the voltage entry is uniformly 240/415 V. Manufacturing takes place in Italy, tested under the 2012 GEMS determination for three-phase motors, using test method A throughout. The mounting code for all five versions is B5, meaning pure flange mounting with no foot fixing.

As a pure flange motor, F0 is designed for direct attachment to a gearbox, pump or other unit, where the motor is centred and bolted through the flange without its own foot base – typical for use as a close-coupled motor in the gearmotor combinations that form Rossi's core programme.

When buying used or swapping, check bearing condition, insulation resistance of the winding, visible overheating traces on the terminal box and fan cover, and a legible nameplate showing frame size, pole count and efficiency. For a flange motor, also check the condition of the spigot and flange threads, since damage there affects the fit to the mating unit. Spare parts run through the Rossi sales network.
