This page gathers versions of the first-generation Opel Zafira listed as a van variant with N1 registration instead of as a passenger car. The type numbers follow Opel's engine logic: Y marks the diesel engines (Y2.0DTH, Y2.2DTR), Z the petrol engines (Z1.6XE, Z1.8XE, Z2.2SE), the following number the displacement in litres; Z2.0LET OPC denotes the turbo-petrol engine of the sporting OPC trim with 147 kW. The Zafira was Opel's first van with the Flex7 seating system and, as a commercial vehicle with the rear bench removed and an altered gross weight, was registered as a light commercial vehicle in individual countries.

The register lists here 14 versions, throughout four-cylinders of 1,598 to 2,198 cm³, unladen weights from 1,270 to 1,445 kg, gross weights from 1,770 to 1,945 kg and a width of 1,740 mm.
Registering compact vans such as the Zafira as a commercial vehicle was widespread chiefly in countries with tax advantages for business vehicles; technically these versions correspond to the regular Zafira A with the third and, in part, second row of seats removed.
As with the regular Zafira A, timing belt or chain condition counts, on the turbo engines additionally boost-pressure control and oil supply, rust on the sills and around the rear wheel arches, and the function of the Flex7 seat frame where fitted; parts run through the Opel network.
