With a gross weight close to the usual European ceiling for three-axle semi-trailers, the O-3-39 range is built for classic articulated operation in tank and silo haulage, competing with other Belgian, Dutch and German builders of liquid and bulk-goods semi-trailers.
When buying used, this range calls for checking the condition of the tank or silo shell, seals and discharge valves, corrosion on the frame, axle mounts and kingpin plate, and the function of the brake system and support legs. On the larger-volume Mega versions the interior coating and cleaning access are also worth checking, along with the condition of the ladders and top-mounted walkways; spare parts come through the manufacturer and workshops specialising in tank semi-trailers.
