Fendt-Caravan Trailers up to 3.5 t (Class O2)

The register lists 268 versions with unladen weights from 805 to 2,280 kg, gross weights from 1,000 to 2,800 kg and widths from 2,100 to 2,550 mm; length figures are available for 190 vehicles and range from 5,850 to 9,340 mm. The high minimum weight shows that light small models are absent; the focus lies on medium to large family caravans with sturdy construction.

The five-tier naming from Apero to Brillant acts as an equipment and price ladder above the plain floorplan number, similar to the trim lines of other Hymer brands such as Bürstner (Ventana) or Eriba (GT, Nova), only more finely graded. In the market, Fendt Caravan is positioned in the upper segment, alongside Tabbert and Bürstner.

When buying used, particularly on the often lavishly equipped Platin, Diamant and Brillant models, moisture at the floor, wall and roof joints takes priority, along with window and roof-hatch seals and the silicone joints around add-on fittings, where leaks show up first. Add a valid gas-system inspection, the hitch coupling, brakes and tyre age under the six-year rule. Tap the floor panel for soft spots and check the 12 V and 230 V electrics; parts are supplied through the Fendt Caravan dealer network within the Hymer Group.
