With gross weights of 1,500 to 2,500 kg and lengths of just over 4 to 5.1 m, the Conqueror caravans sit in the classic size class of European touring caravans for two to four people, towed by the usual mid-size tow cars.

For a used touring caravan of these model years, the checklist covers a damp check of the floor, walls and roof, the condition of windows, roof lights and seals, the function of the gas system and heating, and the overrun actuator, braking system and axle suspension for wear and corrosion. On the models with the Comfort or Companion name suffix, the condition of the furniture fittings and drawer runners inside should also be checked. Spare parts for the body and running gear come through the general caravan trade, with axles and the overrun actuator usually supplied as AL-KO or BPW parts.
