The register lists here 21 versions with 0.75 to 22 kW, uniformly four-pole, full-load efficiencies from 80.5 to 91.6% and at 75% load from 80.5 to 92.3%. Frame sizes run from 80 to 180, protection is IP54, IP55 and IP56. Manufacturing is in Italy and in a combination of Italy and Vietnam, testing mostly used test method A under the 2012 and 2019 GEMS determinations.

Bonfiglioli positions the BE range as a classic three-phase motor for the European and Australia-Pacific markets, often paired with its own gear units into complete drive assemblies for conveyors, agitators and general industrial applications.

When buying used, bearing condition and a checked insulation resistance of the winding, the condition of shaft and key, visible corrosion on the terminal box and fan cover, and a legible nameplate with frame size, build form (foot or flange) and voltage rating matter; on flange versions, the condition of the centring to the mating part should also be checked.
