This page gathers the Valtra tractors the register could not assign to a named range – the brand from Suolahti in central Finland that, as Valmet with state roots, built the first Finnish tractor in 1951, was renamed Valtra in 1997 after the sale to Sisu and has belonged to AGCO since 2004. The type logic: the Valmet ranges of the 1980s and 1990s – 500, 600, 6000 (Mezzo) and 8000 (Mega) – give the range in the first digit, -4 four-wheel drive and HiTech the equipment with electronic control; since 2000 Valtra has structured the programme in letter ranges, A for the compact class, N for the four-cylinders, T for the six-cylinders and S for the big tractors, with the following number as power class (N174 about 175 hp, T234 about 235 hp) and the suffixes HiTech, Active, Versu and Direct for transmission and equipment. The engines come from the company's own Linnavuori plant – first Valmet, then Sisu, today AGCO Power – three- to six-cylinders of 3.3 to 8.4 litres; the brand is known for the à-la-carte tractor the customer configures at the factory in colour and equipment, and for the forestry and municipal versions with the TwinTrac reverse-drive station.
