The telehandlers under the Terex name are the predecessors of today's Genie GTH range: until the group put its loaders under the Genie aerial-platform brand from about 2007, they carried the Terex badge. Two origins sit side by side in the register. The metric types 2506 to 5022 come from the Umbertide plant in Umbria, which Terex gained with the takeover of Terexlift – the number gives capacity in hundreds of kilograms and lift height in metres: 2506 lifts 2.5 t to 6 m, 3713 3.7 t to 13 m, 5022 5 t to 22 m; Elite and SX are equipment lines. The North American types TH636C to TH1056C, TX5519, TX6622 and SS-842C follow the US convention of capacity in thousands of pounds and lift height in feet – the TH1056C lifts 10,000 lb to 56 ft – SS stands for the older Square Shooter range, TX51-19M for the military version.
