Terex's articulated haulers come from the Motherwell plant near Glasgow, which has built dump trucks since the 1950s – first for Euclid and General Motors, from 1968 under the Terex name. Three naming generations appear in the register: the 2766C, 3066C and 4066C of the 1990s encode payload and drive – 27, 30 and 40 t with 6x6 all-wheel drive – the TA range of the 2000s (TA25, TA27, TA30, TA35, TA40) gives the payload in tonnes directly, and the TA250, TA300 and TA400 from 2010 in hundreds of kilograms; IS marks a version with independent suspension. In 2014 Terex sold the plant to Volvo Construction Equipment, which continued the trucks first as Terex Trucks and since 2021 under the new name Rokbak – the register models are the Terex years.

The register lists 12 versions with 182 to 331.1 kW from six-cylinders of 8,276 to 14,011 cm³ – Detroit Diesel Series 60 in the older, Cummins QSC 8.3, MTA11 and QSM11 in the medium, Scania DC9 in the younger models – torque from 1,017 to 2,255 Nm at 2,000 to 2,200 rpm, lengths from 9,446 to 11,095 mm, widths from 2,201 to 3,444 mm and heights from 3,410 to 3,900 mm.
The Motherwell trucks were, alongside Volvo and Caterpillar, the third force of the European articulated-hauler market and known for their simple, service-friendly design – a reason Volvo keeps the plant as a second brand beside its own A range.
On used trucks, operating hours, play in articulation joint and oscillation bearings, the condition of body cylinders, brakes and transmission (Allison or ZF) and the tyres count; parts run through Rokbak dealers and the engine makers.
