The register lists five versions with 0.75 to 5.5 kW rated output, four poles throughout, and an efficiency span of 82.1 to 88% at full load and 80.5 to 87.9% at 75% load. Frame size ranges from 90 to 132, protection is IP55 throughout, and the voltage entry is uniformly 240/415 V. With flange mounting across the whole output range, HB is designed for direct attachment to gearboxes, pumps and other units, covering the lower to mid output band of Rossi's motor programme for gearmotor combinations.
When buying used or swapping, check bearing condition, insulation resistance of the winding, visible overheating traces on the terminal box and fan cover, and a legible nameplate showing frame size, pole count and efficiency.
