RoGator is AGCO's brand for self-propelled field sprayers, tracing back to Ag-Chem Equipment of Jackson, Minnesota; AGCO took over the maker in 2001 and still builds the machines there today. The register covers here the 874, 1074/1074C, 1286C and the SS874/SS1074/SSC1074 version, all with the same Caterpillar power unit. RoGator's hallmark is the high-clearance frame with widely spaced wheels, designed for work in standing crops such as maize, and Ag-Chem's related TerraGator dry-fertiliser spreaders share much of the same running gear.
