Renault Master – four generations since 1980, twin of the Opel Movano and Nissan Interstar: dCi engines, T28 to T35, L1H1 to L4H3
The Master is Renault's large van above the Trafic, built since 1980 in four generations: Master I until 1997, Master II from 1997 to 2010 – for the first time identical to the Opel/Vauxhall Movano and Nissan Interstar – Master III from 2010 to 2024 with front- or rear-wheel drive and twin rear wheels up to 4.5 t, and Master IV since 2024 with much improved aerodynamics and an electric version. The engines of the second and third generation are called dTi and dCi: the 1.9 litre diesel, the 2.2 and 2.5 litre dCi, and in the third generation the 2.3 litre dCi throughout, with 100 to over 170 hp.
