This page gathers the vehicles of the Puch brand the register could not assign to a named range – the off-road range known as the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, sold in Austria under the Puch G name. The vehicle emerged as a joint development between Daimler-Benz and Steyr-Daimler-Puch and is still built at the Graz plant today; early model years in Austria and Switzerland carried the Puch emblem instead of the Mercedes star. The designations 230 GE, 290 GD and 300 GD give the engine-capacity class (2.3 to 3.0 litres), G for off-road vehicle, E for injection engine and D for diesel, the G500 the later V8 version of 5.0 litres.
